Hey Folks!

We’re in California!

In the process of planning for the second leg of our trip we’ve come up with some ways to SIMPLIFY our lives and get more of our content up so you can see what the hell we’ve been up to for the past month! More info, more of our faces, and just generally more for you to munch on and ask questions about!

While in Illinois we met with Friends of the Chicago River.

Here are some links if you’re interested in learning more about water pollution and conservation:

thank god there are some rules and lots of work about what can go into the rivers and waterways in the US. being in India is like being in the US in the 70’s. people throw trash anywhere. even in super natural areas in the mountains, there are potato chip bags everywhere and garbage thrown off every cliff. which obviously effects the water in a big big way. oh the US, how i miss thee.

The last shot of the river with the boats heading inward and the train passing by was one of your best.

    A great interview.

It would have been nice to see more of the river, you down by the river. What does it look like, sound like, feel like, smell like?

Great video - and great editing also - I’m really glad you made good use of your exterior shots on-top of the interview.

Interesting! Planting native species, at the same time as inviting the public to come be a part of the shore. We should try this for polluted Lake Ontario.

another cool video, I liked it when the voiceover was over the background shots so we could see what the river (the subject) is like and how it was being used now (the boats etc). a good community project to feature
